Let’s have fun with the idea of creating your own youtube channel!

If you’re a long-time youtube viewer, you probably know that the most interesting videos on youtube are those created by people using no voice. You can watch and enjoy such videos without needing to hear what the person is speaking.

If you want to start a channel without having to speak, talk, or use your voice, here are 10 YouTube channel ideas without voice.

1. ASMR

ASMR is an abbreviation for the autonomous sensory meridian response. It is a feeling of well-being accompanied by a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, which some people experience in response to a specific gentle stimulus, usually a specific sound.

If you do a quick YouTube search, you will find a plethora of ASMR channels where the creator makes sounds such as whispering, blowing, scratching, tapping, and so on without speaking a word.

I understand that whispering may fall under the category of voice, but there are many crinkly and abrasive noises you can make using plenty of items to please your audience.

All you need to ensure is that you have a high-quality microphone capable of capturing all kinds of sounds.

ASMR Bakery, for example, is an ASMR channel that creates mostly no-talking ASMR videos. It currently has over one million subscribers.

2. Gaming

Another great YouTube channel idea where you don’t have to use your voice is a Gaming channel.

Simply install screen recording software/app on your computer/mobile device and record popular games while playing them. Then, post those videos to your channel and watch your views grow.

Though there are gaming channels where the creator speaks, some simply upload gameplay.

For example, the Airton channel uploads gaming videos with no voiceover. In fact, their channel description reads, “Gameplay videos (no comments) in the highest possible quality.”

3. Music Channel

Everyone enjoys listening to music, so why not post music videos that do not require speaking or talking?

Although there is a problem with copyright infringement, there are several copyright-free kinds of music that won’t give you a penalty.

Furthermore, if you know how to compose music with software such as FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and others, you won’t have to worry about copyright issues.

For example, SleepTube – Hypnotic Relaxation creates original calming music and visuals for sleep, relaxation, and meditation. They have over 400k subscribers and the majority of their videos get a lot of views.

4. Timelapse

Time-lapse videos allow you to capture the dynamic nature of clouds floating by, a bird building her nest or the bustle of a city street on a busy afternoon.

Such moments can be captured with a high-quality camera, but they must also be edited before they can be turned into timelapse videos.

The “MK timelapse GmbH” is a good example of a timelapse channel where you can find construction project time-lapses.

Temponaut Timelapse is another popular channel, with the majority of the videos focusing on food decomposition.

5. Cooking

Nowadays, most people use YouTube to find new recipes to try with their families. In fact, when I’m alone, I like to watch food channels and experiment with new recipes.

That’s when I discovered channels where the creator prepares the recipe without talking by using subtitles and soothing music.

AlmazanKichen is one such channel, where the only voice you’ll hear is that of nature, specifically the flow of a river. Their channel doesn’t even have a subtitle, but watching the recipe gives you a relaxing vibe.

Another cooking channel that does not use voice is Peaceful Cuisine.

6. DIY Craft Videos

Craft videos are very popular on YouTube, where you can find videos about origami, jewelry making, gift wrapping, and other crafts.

This channel concept does not require the use of a voice because you can simply record your hands while making crafts along with text descriptions.

The “DIY Crafts” channel, for example, doesn’t use any voice and still teaches how to make fancy bracelets, school supplies, Barbie dolls, and other cute items.

Furthermore, this YouTube channel idea does not require showing your face, which is a plus if you are shy.

7. Screen Record Tutorial Videos

If you know how to use popular software, you can create tutorial videos by screen recording your steps. All you need is screen recording as well as video editing software.

You can record everything that happens on your computer using the screen recorder, and editing software will be used to add text descriptions.

There are many channels that teach popular software such as Adobe Photoshop, FL Studio, Wondershare Filmora without using their voice.

A great example is the YouTube channel “Photoshop Tutorials By Webflippy,” where you can watch various Photoshop effects tutorials without the creator speaking a word.

8. Unboxing Channel

Unboxing videos document the process of unpacking products, particularly high-tech consumer items, and are then uploaded to the internet.

If you buy the latest gadgets on a regular basis, you can definitely start this channel that does not require any voice.

For example, if you go to the channel “TheRelaxingEnd“, you’ll find a variety of unboxing videos (specifically gaming consoles) with simple text explanations.

It has over seven million subscribers, and the video audio, which has pin-drop silence in the background, is quite soothing to hear.

9. Pet Channel

If you have a pet, such as a dog or a cat, you can easily record and upload their daily activities to YouTube.

Believe me, there is a sizable audience out there who would watch anything related to pets, even a simple walking video.

Furthermore, if you want to get creative, you can direct short skits with your pets, similar to the Maymo channel. They have over 10 million subscribers and feature a variety of funny lemon beagle dog videos in their skits.

Aside from some animal sounds and background music, no voice or person is speaking in their videos.

10 Compilation Channel

If you’re unfamiliar with the term “compilation video,” it refers to films that have been edited from previously released or archive footage but have been arranged in a new order of appearance.

Although this channel idea may result in a copyright strike, you can still create videos with free copyright material.

For example, best fails of the year compilation or instant regret compilation videos.

You can build a channel around this concept in which you don’t have to talk about anything. Simply select 5, 10, or even more videos of the same type and combine them to make a compilation video.

The PuVideo channel is the best example of such a channel, where you can watch compilation videos about parkour, trick shots, freerunning, skateboarding, and so on.
